Fourth-Generation Idaho Native Joins ERA Real Estate to Provide Enhanced Services to His Home State

Multi-Office Treasure Valley Brokerage Expands its Offerings with the Support of ERA Real Estate

MADISON, N.J., (June 8, 2026)ERA Real Estate, LLC a global franchising leader and subsidiary of Compass International Holdings (NYSE: COMP), today announced its latest affiliation in Idaho, Hunter of Homes, LLC, a multi-office brokerage with reach that extends from southwestern Idaho into eastern Oregon.

Hunter of Homes, LLC, was founded in 2010 by fourth-generation Idaho native and 19-year real estate veteran Josh Austin. Austin began his real estate career as a producing agent after graduating from Utah State with an Economics degree, and with earlier experience working alongside his grandfather and father in construction. His multigenerational roots in the area allowed him to quickly connect with some of Idaho’s most reputable real estate professionals and provided him with keen insight into the nuances of each market he serves.

Joining Austin at the brokerage are a roster of fellow native Idahoans. Together, they’ve built a strong reputation in their service area, particularly in the Treasure Valley, for their homegrown expertise in traditional residential real estate, as well as new construction, acreage properties, investment transactions, and agricultural properties. For many of the firm’s agents, their clients are neighbors, friends, and family, making their work that much more personal. 

As part of the ERA® network, the company will now do business as Hunter of Homes ERA Powered, while its affiliated real estate professionals will be equipped with powerful business-building tools, comprehensive professional development resources, and innovative marketing programs designed to connect buyers and sellers more effectively. After 15 years of operating independently, Austin recognized that to pursue continued growth and streamline operations, it would require the support of a nationally recognized brand. He looked to ERA Real Estate specifically, as the ERA Powered model would allow the brokerage to retain its local identity, while still providing access to the industry’s latest tools and technology. With this additional support, Austin plans to more than double his agent count over the next 18 months, via organic recruitment and acquisition opportunities along I-84, towards Boise, Twin Falls, and Logan, Utah.

Together, they sponsor local youth activities, purchase local 4-H livestock from the Payette County Fair, and participate in the annual Star Hometown Celebration parade. Austin himself has also served on Star’s activities planning committee.
